Activity - Introduced pests

Completion requirements

Aotearoa New Zealand has a high proportion of endemic species, found nowhere else, relative to many other parts of the world. However, there are also many introduced species some of which we consider pests because of the damage they cause.

List examples of native and introduced species, and then consider the impact introduced pests have on endemic and native species.

Use the downloadable activity sheet provided.
