One of Auckland Zoo's values is conservation optimism. We lead efforts to protect the world's natural environments and the animals that live in them. We educate people on living more sustainable by showing them how. When species become endangered, it is important to do the best we can to protect species including the ones in your own backyard. This video is an example of conservation optimism and one of the conservation projects (Wild Work) that Auckland Zoo participates in.
